Magic Kingdom Roblox is a game within the Roblox platform that has several thousand players on a daily-basis, it's practically a whole remake of the actual Magic Kingdom located in Orlando, Florida via the U.S. Unfortunately, the game was recently taken down through an illegitimate DMCA claim, at first you might be thinking that it's supposed to be taken down as it's an infringement of an actual corporation in reality. Well, your answer is incorrect, the game was taken down by a former developer through a confidential dispute whereas they filed a DMCA claim towards the game and it's obviously considered as illegitimate since that individual is not the copyright holder nor' has a licensed authorization to any of the trademarks/assets - which explains that it wasn't the Disney Corporation who took down the game.
At this moment, the game developer Trevguin stated on Twitter that he anticipates to have the game reopened by October 1st with the halloween update in-time. Which brings the positive news where if you purchased anything in-game, your Robux is safe and secured and will not go to a waste! All purchases made will still work when the game reopens. Additionally, you may also have a thought in mind where it will be impossible to reopen the game, now lets think critically - first, the person who took down the game was not apart of the Disney Corporation nor' the copyright holder. Second, only Disney can have the game taken down, and there weren't any reports from the company regarding this game, discernibly at this moment everything is safe. Whatsoever, in the future, there may be a possibility of the game being officially closed due to the many trademarks and copyrighted logos, on the bright side nobody knows when Disney will file a DMCA, besides, the possibility is quite rare at this moment, so you can continue to enjoy your magical experience virtually!
In conclusion, everything seems good at this moment, Roblox Support can be real tough to work with including the extremely long wait-times for a response due to the team working remotely in result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
